Air Mandalay

Air Mandalay Limited is a private joint venture company that was incorporated on 6th October 1994 to operate as Myanmar’s first privately owned airline and support the country’s tourism industry.

The airline, based in Yangon, has since established itself as a carrier of high standards with a wide domestic network and one regional link, to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It operates to all of Myanmar’s main tourist destinations and commercial hubs.

Asian Wings Airways

Asian Wings Airways was successfully inaugurated on 27 January 2011. The airline based in Yangon International Airport, Yangon, Myanmar. With over three years of business operations, they have learned professionalism and the know-how of operating our airline business in a customer-first sense. They are proud to be catering to travelers around the world with our unique flight services integrated with the euphoria of Myanmar.

Currently being a domestic airline, Asian Wings offers regular flights to all major tourist destinations in Myanmar, such as: Yangon, Mandalay, Nyaung U (Bagan), Heho, Tachileik, Lashio, Monywa, Homalin, Naypyitaw, Myitkyina, Bhamo and Putao. They are also providing airline services to Chiang Mai as their first regional destination. In the very near future, Asian Wings Airways will extend its wings to regional destinations and thrive to become a reliable airline of Myanmar.

Golden Myanmar Airlines

Golden Myanmar Airlines is the first Myanmar Aviation Public Company established in July 2012, GMA has grown to be Myanmar’s leading domestic and international low cost carrier. It is with great honor to announce the formation of Golden Myanmar Airlines—as people oriented carrier.

In our first steps, they are determined to reach the pinnacle of the airline industry in Myanmar. They are dedicated to deliver outstanding in-flight service, superior on board products, and operational excellence.

Golden Myanmar Airlines will be expanding domestically, which will open the gateway for all travelers to reach the best destinations in Myanmar with ease.

Mann Yadanarpon Airlines

Mann Yadanarpon Airlines was incorporated as a private limited liability company on July 23 2013, and granted a permit by the Myanmar Investment Commission under the Myanmar Citizens Investment Law to operate air transportation services on both domestic and international routes.

Mann Yadanarpon Airlines is the first airline in Myanmar to base its operations at Mandalay International Airport Mandalay International Airport, MYA aims to provide convenient international flight connections to international travelers arriving at and departing from Mandalay. MYA plans to expand its operations to regional destinations after successfully operating domestic services for two years.

Yangon Airways

Yangon Airways was established in October 1996 as a domestic airline in a Joint venture between Myanmar Airways, the state-owned national airline and Krong-Sombat Co. of Thailand.

In October 1997, MHE-Mayflower Co. acquired Krong-Sombat’s shares in Yangon Airways and since then the airline has evolved into a principal domestic airline operating scheduled and charter services from Yangon to 13 prime commercial and tourist destinations in Myanmar.


FMI Air is a leading local airline, operating three Bombardier CRJ-200s. These are jet aircraft which makes them faster, more reliable, and quieter than the turboprop aircraft often used in Myanmar.

FMI Air has a leading position on the Yangon–Naypyitaw route, while also flying to Mandalay and Sittwe, with other destinations being developed. The airline is well known for its quality customer service, reliability and punctuality, which make it the first choice of many business executives and diplomats.
