After breakfast at your hotel, began our trip to south of Inle Lake by a long tail boat about 6 hours riding to a small town named as Phe-khon. On the way, we will stops at several villages to observe the way of life. Lunch break at Samkar village after 3 hours ride. After lunch, proceed to Phe-khon and passing along the Bilu (Pilu) river. An opportunity to enjoy beautiful sceneries from your boat. Arrive at Phe-khon, drive to Liokaw by car about an hour and 30 minutes drive. Overnight in Loikaw.
Arrive Loikaw and check in. Afternoon visit “TaungKweZeti” scenically built on a hillock overlooking the vast expanse of the environs. You can watch desolately at the pilgrims and enjoy the marvelous landscape and sunset view from the top. Return to Hotel and overnight in Loikaw.
After breakfast, visit local market at Loikaw; capital of Kayah State and still remain as an untouched attraction where you can observe traditional ways of life of Kayah national races and next the area’s landmark like Ngwe Taung Dam.
In the afternoon, excursion to “San Bwinn village” (approx. 30 min drive) in order to catch about seven Padaung ladies before they go to the farm. Enjoy walking through the village. You will get insight into the unspoiled culture and traditional life-style of around thirty Padaung People. Ladies dressed in their richly decorated attire with the brass rings round their necks. The best time to see is in the late afternoon, when they came back from farm. Next, you will visit Kayah State Museum to understand more about the local’s customs and tradition. Finally, visit a traditional weaving village of Chitkye and enjoy the spectacular sunset view on the Sakyar Hill. Evening back to Loikaw. Overnight in Loikaw.
After breakfast, visit to local market, and Pohperyone teaching monastery where about 500 monks are studying. Then drive to Phe khone town and proceed by boat through Phe Khone Lake encompassed by breathtaking and refreshing landscape along the Bilu Creek. On the way visit Tha Khaung relic pagoda, other ancient religious monuments and ways of life of Shan, Pa O and Intha national races in Sagar village. After that proceed to Lotus weaving at Kyain kham village, and proceed to Inle. Overnight in Inle.
