Bagan Day tour (BGN-1)
Meet with your guide at hotel’s lobby around 08:00 am, and starts full day sightseeing in Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. Visit Nyaung U Local Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Kyansittha Umin, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Htilominlo Temple. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit lacquer ware workshops, Manuha Temple, Nanphaya, Ananda Temple, and Oak-Kyaung. In the late afternoon, transfer to jetty and get on your private wooden boat to enjoy the gorgeous sunset moment on the Irrawaddy river. Afterward, back to hotel or you may wish to drop off at local restaurant. Overnight in Bagan.
Bagan Day tour (BGN-2)
After breakfast at hotel, tour begins at colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. In the afternoon, visit to Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquer Ware Industry one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. In the late afternoon, enjoy an unforgettable Bagan sunset by horse-cart. Overnight in Bagan.
Mt. Popa & Salay Day Tour (BGN-3)
Meet with your guide at hotel’s lobby around 08:00 am, head to Mount Popa (58 km and 1.5 hours drive away from Bagan); an extinct volcano with its shrines dedicated to animist spirits known as “Nats”. For the energetic, time to climb up the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Afterward, proceed to Salay; a town which develops during the late Bagan area. Enjoy lunch at Sale River View Restaurant. After lunch, walking in the old city, visit some old colonial houses, Maha Zaydikyi Pagoda with 2 giant lions at the entrance facing to the Ayeyarwaddy River and 150 years old wooden Thanana Yaung Kyi monastery for a short conversation with a friendly monk. After that visit the biggest bamboo Buddha in Myanmar from Bagan Period. And walking to Yoke Sone Monastery for the best wood carvings from 19th Century. Afterward, drive back to Bagan. Enroute stop at village cottage industry to learn the regional product as well as to watch the collection of juice from the palm trees, and its conversion to brown sugar Afterward, back to hotel or you may wish to drop off at local restaurant. overnight in Bagan.
